Evan Rogister returns to The Metropolitan Opera March 23-April 26, conducting Simon McBurney’s uproarious production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. It’s an opera he has previously conducted to great acclaim at Semperoper Dresden and at Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the same opera in which he made his Met debut in 2017.
Rogister leads an incredible cast of accomplished Mozarteans, featuring Golda Schultz as Pamina, Kathryn Lewek as The Queen of the Night, Ben Bliss as Tamino, Thomas Oliemans as Papageno, and Stephen Milling as Sarastro.
