This July, Evan Rogister makes a highly anticipated return to the Glyndebourne Festival to conduct Die Entführung aus dem Serail. It’s a welcome return for the conductor, who made his house debut three years ago conducting Don Giovanni. Widely lauded for his interpretations of Mozart’s operas, Rogister has recently led performances of the composer’s works at The Metropolitan Opera and Malmö Opera, among others.
Rogister leads a cast of young, rising stars, featuring Liv Redpath as Konstanze, Anthony León as Belmonte, Julie Roset as Blonde, and Michael Mofidian, joined by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Sir David McVicar directs.
Die Entführung aus dem Serail runs July 31st through August 28th, 2026.
