On April 22nd, Evan Rogister reunites with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for “Echoes of Hill and Horizon,” a multimedia concert event. The performance, taking place at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, is featured as part of the venue’s Multitudes Festival, highlighting much loved works enhanced for all the senses through technology and other media. The programme includes Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis, and The Lark Ascending with soloist Kati Debretzeni, along with Warlock’s Capriol Suite and Elgar’s Serenade for strings. Squidsoup, a pioneering collective of artists and designers, will enhance the space through bold, cutting-edge lighting and sound design, creating a truly immersive atmosphere for both the audience and artists.
Rogister will also conduct the OAE this summer in his return to the Glyndebourne Festival, for Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
