Evan Rogister debuts at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence this summer, conducting the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée (OJM) in two exciting concerts plus additional tour dates still to be announced. Performance dates include July 19 at Le Silo (Marseille) and July 20 at Grand Théâtre de Provence. Celebrating the orchestra’s 40th anniversary, the OJM will be mentored and coached by members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
For four decades, the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée (OJM) has nurtured the region’s most talented young artists, fostering intercultural dialogue and promoting peace. Through a cooperative network, it facilitates artist recruitment and mobility in the Mediterranean. The OJM’s symphonic session targets aspiring professional musicians from Mediterranean countries, providing an enriching orchestral experience at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, emphasizing large-scale repertoire enjoyment.
