Evan Rogister begins the 2023/24 season at Semperoper Dresden, leading Mozart’s captivating Die Zauberflöte. One of Mozart’s most frequently performed and beloved operas, it blends elements of fantasy, adventure, and Masonic symbolism, making it a unique and special work in the operatic repertoire.
Performances will take place on September 2 & 10, December 10 & 13, and January 4 & 6. Rogister leads an incredible cast, including Georg Zeppenfeld as Sarastro, Aleksandra Olczyk as Queen of the Night, Mariya Taniguchi as Pamina, Joseph Dennis as Tamino, and Bernhard Hansky as Papageno, among others.
